Five deferment Dick Cheney had no hesitation in sending America's sons and daughter to their deaths fighting an unnecessary war in Iraq. He made this decision based on lies and his guess was wrong. Sorry!!!
In fact, every decision he made regarding national security (and all other decisions) was wrong and yet he wants Obama to follow his example of failure.
Calling the President "dithering" when he weighs the options in Afghanistan-well, it is beyond hypocritical.
Dick Cheney-you have NO credibility-why don't you go back to Wyoming and STFU???

SNOWE JOB
Who appointed Olympia Snowe as Author of the Health Reform Bill???
She represents a sparsely populated state that ranks 40th in population.
Despite the vast majority wanting a public option, Mrs. Snowe doesn't think we deserve it.
I am frankly tired of these Senators from sparsley populated states (Conrad-North Dakota, Nelson-Nebraska) who are actively working against the wishes of the majority of Americans.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that with no public option, there is no competition and nothing will change.

Lion of the Senate

We will not see his likes again. The Lion of the Senate is dead. For those of us who are children of the 60s, the Kennedy family will forever be linked to our memories of growing up. They dominated the national landscape and we were fascinated with them. For over 40 years, Ted Kennedy worked tirelessly for the average American. Born into wealth, he spent his life giving back through public service.
God bless Ted Kennedy and the work he did throughout his career in the Senate.

THE FEMININE FACE OF THE GOP
I think we need more women in politics.
The GOP has several prominent women who have grabbed the spotlight from their grumpy old white men.
Let's visit them:
Sarah Palin-a small town mayor in Alaska -then a half term governor of Alaska (quitting when she didn't like being governor anymore)-and in between, a Vice Presidental candidate. After reading that sentence again, it is difficult to comprehend the trajectory of her career....to say she was unqualified for higher office is a no brainer. Thanks John McCain, Mr. "America first", for foisting this stupid lying right wing nutcase onto the national stage. I fear we will continue to hear her "ideas" for a long time...ad naseum.......
Liz Cheney-daughter of Darth Vader and Ms. Know it All. Trying to rewrite history to make her father seem human. Mission Impossible.
Michelle Bachmann-representing the 6th district (Meth Capital) of Minnesota. As money from around the rightwing nation pours into her campaign coffers, she appears far too often on TV espousing her wacky moronic views on life. What she has done for her district is a mystery. But anyone who quotes Sarah Palin has got to be pretty messed up.
I take that first statement back.....we do not need more female wackjobs in office.
Margaret Chase Smith must be rolling over in her grave.

That Chicago has lost out to Rio in the 2016 Olympic bid.
Yes, Americans...cheering the loss of thousands of jobs for fellow Americans.
Yes, Americans...cheering the loss of a worldwide event that would bring billions of dollars in revenue to our country.
Makes you wonder doesn't it??
They would fit right in with the cheering crowds in Iraq/Iran/Pakistan...those terrorists crowds burning the American flag and shouting death to America.
Our own home grown terrorists...the face of the Rethuglican party today.
